Rag Rag Mein Ganga
To present spiritual and socio-economic heritage and explain the ecological condition of river Ganga, Doordarshan has launched this travelogue series ‘Rag Rag Mein Ganga‘. Renowned actor, Rajeev Khandelwal, travels across the Himalayan regions to present the story of the origin of river Ganga and its journey from Gangotri to Ganga Sagar.
The travelogue series “Rag Rag Mein Ganga” has been made by Doordarshan in collaboration with National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG). The 21 episode series, covering River Ganga’s journey from Gomukh to Gangasagar, has been shot using state-of-the-art techniques. Anchored by well-known actor Rajeev Khandelwal, the show has gone on live from 2nd February 2019 on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 PM on DD National. The show relays the message of the need of rejuvenating River Ganga. It informs about the efforts of the Government to clean Ganga – presented in a unique and interesting format.
In #episode 17 of Rag Rag Mein Ganga, Rajeev Khandelwal has , explored the city of Munger situated on the banks of Ganges. Get to know the local flavours of this district, travel in time in the Munger Fort. He visited Shaktipeeth Ma Chandika Sthan, Kashtharni Ghat and the revered Ajgaivinath Temple in Sultanganj.
